Veto Threats illegal in North Dakota

An editorial in the Grand Forks Herald argues:Article 5, Section 10 of the Constitution declares that "a governor …who menaces any member (of the Legislature) by the threatened use of the governor's veto power … must be punished" in the manner directed by law, "and upon conviction thereof forfeits all right to hold or exercise any office of trust or honor in this state."
